Andreas Michael - Managing Director / Personal trainer/ Training & Nutritional Systems

Andreas Michael

With over eight years experience as a personal trainer, Andreas Michael jumped into the world of health and fitness at the tender age of sixteen. Starting out with long-distance running and using resistance machines to increase his muscle size, Andreas soon realised that variety was the key to achieving his fitness goals. Because of this, he is passionate about continually learning about and trying new training techniques such as sarcomere hypertrophy, sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, and strength- and power-training.

More recently, Andreas has become an advocate of interval training, having just updated his fitness knowledge with Premier Training International at their amazing Cyprus location. He has also become passionate about nutrition and the importance of eating healthily.

Outside of fitness, Andreas takes a more relaxed approach to life and loves nothing more than catching a film, reading a good book, or getting lost in the solitude of drawing. His main motivation in life is his friends and family, who are always there to help him realise his goals and dreams.

With his youthful enthusiasm, flexible training approach, and determination to achieve results, Andreas is just the man to help you achieve your own health and fitness goals.

Patrick Dale - Fitness Writer / Training & Nutritional Systems

Patrick Dale

Patrick realised very early that sports and fitness was "his thing," and has devoted almost all of his life to these pursuits. After studying physical education in college, Patrick began working as a gym instructor and aerobics class teacher, as well as personal training a select group of clients.

He took a five-year break from the health and fitness industry to join the British Royal Marine Commandos - one of the most elite fighting forces in the world. The Marines have a reputation for "training hard and fighting easy," and Patrick's fitness was tested to the extreme. Patrick left the Marines to begin teaching people how to become personal trainers and gym instructors. He now has his own company in Cyprus called Solar Fitness Qualifications.

As an enthusiastic sportsman, Patrick has been involved with and competed in a wide variety of activities including athletics, rugby, rock climbing, weightlifting, bodybuilding, triathlon, martial arts, trampolining and gymnastics. Currently, his main areas of interests are strength and conditioning for improved sports performance, nutrition, fitness psychology and weight management, as well as family health and fitness - an area he is very passionate about. Believing that prevention is better than cure, he wants to help people of all ages to benefit from a healthy lifestyle and reduce their risk of the common chronic diseases associated with poor nutrition and inactivity.

Julia Flower - Personal Yoga trainer

Julia Flower

Julia has been practicing yoga since 1985. She started with an Iyengar practice and then became inspired by the Vini yoga teachings of her British Wheel of Yoga Diploma course teacher.

She teaches a fluid, intuitive form of yoga concentrating on the link between breath and movement, while also using long 'yin' style holds to penetrate the connective tissue around the joints.

She pays particular attention to the individual needs of the students, adapting postures to help them safely get the most from their practice.
